Radiology Department. ISAR Klinikum offers comprehensive diagnostics for all organ systems utilizing state-of-the-art technology. The department’s equipment is designed to minimize the amount of contrast media used (microdoses), which helps reduce the impact on the body and makes side effects rare. The department is headed by Dr. Pascal Knedler, an expert in mammographic imaging.
Plastic Surgery. The hospital’s Plastic Surgery Department treats patients with a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive needs. In addition to routine aesthetic procedures, the team corrects defects resulting from burns and various diseases. The department also offers scar-revision techniques, including the use of specialized intradermal sutures.
Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Manual Therapy. The team supports recovery after injuries using a broad range of evidence-based methods, both inpatient and outpatient.
Urology. The department diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the kidneys, bladder, ureters, urethra, and prostate, with a particular focus on oncologic diseases. Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Oncology. The department provides diagnostics and treatment for disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. Assessment is typically symptom-oriented (for example, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain). All current endoscopic techniques are available. When a polyp or other lesion is found, a biopsy is performed for subsequent histological examination. Thomas Oxenkühn and Holger Seidl lead the hospital’s Gastroenterology Center, bringing extensive clinical and research experience in the field of gastroenterology.
