Professional experience
Director of the Department of Urology, ISAR Klinikum (Munich)
- Studied at the universities of Innsbruck, Berlin, and Munich; as part of his doctoral work, he spent over a year at the Mayo Clinic (USA)
- In 2003 earned his Dr. med. with distinction at LMU Munich
- After general -surgery training at St. Gallen Hospital, he worked at University Hospital Zurich and Tübingen University Hospital, where he served as a senior physician in robotic surgery and endoscopy
- In 2012 moved to the University Hospital Frankfurt, where he expanded the robotic surgery program
- In 2014 appointed Professor at Goethe University Frankfurt
- Since June 2015, Head of the Urology Clinic at ISAR Klinikum
- In addition to teaching, Prof. Schilling has delivered numerous lectures at national and international congresses and has co-authored more than 100 publications in leading scientific journals
